1 10.5 oz pouch Fall River fully cooked
Wild Rice
1 cups cooked Brown Basmati Rice
1/4 cup dried Cranberries
1/2 cup cooked, crumbled, Maple Sage
ground Breakfast Sausage
1/2 cup diced Red Apple (peel on)
1/2 cup diced Celery
Salt & Pepper to taste
4 Cornish Game Hens
2 Oranges - Juice from
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Lemon Pepper
1/2 tsp dried Oregano
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine
Wild Rice, Basmati Rice, Cranberries, Sausage, Apple, Celery and Salt
& Pepper. Stuff Game Hens. Close with toothpicks.
Place Game Hens in a 10x13" glass or Pyrex baking dish.
Squeeze Orange Juice over Game Hens. Sprinkle Seasoning over
Game Hens. Bake for 1 hour or until meat is no longer pink next
to the bone. Remove from oven and serve with any extra rice
stuffing and your favorite side dishes.
